Custom Cabinets by Cabaret Cabinetry

The answer to how the process works at Cabaret Cabinetry Inc. is that we offer planning, designs, pricing, advice, face to face meetings, on site measurements, and delivery services.  Once your custom cabinetry or furniture is delivered, we are available to your installer for any questions they may have during the install process.

After we speak with a potential customer, they often ask how the process proceeds from start to finish when working with Cabaret Cabinetry, Inc.  Below is a detailed outline of how we can take your project from an idea to a reality.

Once the initial contact has been made discussing your upcoming project, we will set up a meeting with you,  we come to you – location is not an issue.  We provide services in all of the lower 48 states.  Our client base is open and no one is turned away.  Whether you are a homeowner, contractor, designer, builder, architect, or a commercial business we look forward to forming a working relationship with you.  Within a week or so of your initial contact with us, we provide you with door samples, ideas, and a strong desire to start your project.

Our primary goal is to get to know you.  If you have sketches, photos, any initial ideas of what you would like incorporated in your design, you can mail or email them to us.  Many times clients present photos of ideas they would like incorporated within their design.  We take these ideas, update them, and customize them to work within the scope of your project.  It is important to us that we understand what you want, but to also understand what you do not want.  That is why we devote time to you when we hold a consultation meeting to review any sketches, photos, or ideas you have along with any preliminary designs we may have done.  If you desire, we can do a quote based upon the preliminary information you have provided us with, or we can wait until you have  a more firm design option selected.  It is important to us to get a sense of the direction you want your project to go in.

For a greater awareness of what we can provide you, we recommend a visit to our local showroom, if available.  If a showroom is not available in your area, our motto is “WE BRING THE SHOWROOM TO YOU!”  We want to make your experience with Cabaret Cabinetry, Inc. to be as trouble and hassle free as possible for you.  We can either provide samples or photos of the items you are interested in gaining more knowledge on, or we can make arrangements for you to view finished projects that we have done.  Many of our former or current customers are so pleased with our quality work that they are more than happy to open their homes for you to view their completed project.

After your initial consultation, we take any notes regarding your design preference, the items you do and do not want incorporated into your design, along with any photos, preliminary design mark ups and present them to one of our skilled cabinetry designers.  From this the designer develops new drawings for you to review.  There are times that while they are working on your project they may come up with additional design ideas and may present you with multiple options to select from.  We will then have a follow up meeting with you to discuss the most recent designs and make adjustments if necessary to the drawings.  Your designer will be working with you one on one either by phone or email or both.  It is important to us that we explain the options available  to you, we do not rush you, and we give you time to review and adjust the designs to work with you and your lifestyle. If revisions to designs and additional meetings are necessary, we will devote that time to you so you get the finished project you have desired.  Regardless of the size of your project, such as an entire house of cabinetry or a single vanity, no project is too big or too small.  After the initial designs have been refined, we like to provide you with a quote, if one has not been provided yet.  Both our preliminary meeting and quote are provided to you at no cost.

Once the design has been refined and you are ready to proceed, it’s time for you to narrow down your finish information.  Samples are always available to give you a better feel for the furniture or room you are creating.  There are a variety of samples to choose from, the possibilities are virtually endless.  We have different species of wood available which we can paint, stain, glaze, distress, or antique.  We also have the capabilities to do custom color matching to paint and stain colors and techniques you have on existing pieces or that you find in  photos.  When we provide you with samples, they are yours to use throughout your project.  Take the time to view the samples in different lighting, with your flooring options, countertop, and paint selections.  There is no rush, take all the time you need to get a feel for the wood, color, and finish and how it will work with your design.

At Cabaret Cabinetry, Inc., we understand that keeping a project cost effective is the main goal of any client.  We will work with you to ensure your standards are met as well as your budget.  We can offer you alternatives to keep the cost down and still provide you with a quality finished product.  Many people believe that cabinetry built at a custom cabinet company is more expensive than nationally owned franchises.  Over the years, we have discovered that our quotes tend to be very competitive.  At Cabaret Cabinetry, Inc. we offer something that the nationally owned franchises do not, we offer you custom pieces, dedication, and a lifelong partnership.  Now that you have your quote, your design finalized, and have selected your finishes, you will submit a deposit so we can get your project on the production floor.

We understand that it takes many people to complete a project and this can be a stressful time for you.  Let us ease your mind and lessen your workload through strong communication and teamwork with you and your subcontractors.  Whether you have hired architects, interior designers, builders, electricians, plumbers, whatever the subs are, we will work with them to keep them up to date on the designs we have done, any revisions to these, and our estimated delivery times.  You provide us with their contact information and we will take care of keeping them informed on the most recent drawings and schedule.  We encourage your subcontractors to call with any questions they may have.  With our combined efforts we can keep your project running smoothly and save you money by avoiding misunderstandings and mistakes.

After your project is approved and hits the production floor, a delivery date is estimated.  Many key points factor into determining delivery dates.  It is based upon our current on floor production, the size of your project, and the anticipated date that you will need your cabinetry.  Our goal is to keep our delivery time frame between 8 and 10 weeks from your approval sign offs.  We deliver our products ourselves, which cuts costs and prevents damage to your beautifully crafted pieces.  Each piece is wrapped securely in blankets to ensure the piece arrives to you with no damage or complications.  Cabaret Cabinetry, Inc. will arrange delivery to the job site.  It will be the customers or contractors responsibility to provide man power to unload the cabinetry.  We strongly recommend that you have a minimum of two people to help unload and possibly up to four people depending on the size of the job.  Since we deliver our products ourselves, we are able to keep our prices competitive with other companies.

Throughout the process we make several site visits where we take site measurements, review design layout, verify plumbing and electrical placement, check for potential problems, all to insure that you have an easy and cost effective installation.  Now that your project is in production, you can eagerly await the arrival of your finished project.  Upon delivery the balance due is owed.  Under special circumstances, we do work with banks and title companies for payouts.

Cabaret Cabinetry, Inc. offers a standard 10 year limited warranty for any defective materials or workmanship that occurs under everyday use.  The warranty does not cover customer dents, scratches, chips, or finish wear and tear.    We have a lifetime warranty on Blum hinges, and Blum drawer glides to our original customer.

Unlike many other companies, our work is not done once your project is completed.  Whether it has been 30 days or 30 years, if you have any issues with your cabinetry or furniture, do not hesitate to contact us.  Customers have called us 15 years after a completed project, and we are always eager to help them.  No matter how old the project is, we often try to match your original piece and offer a discount for the solution.  Simply pick up the phone or send us an email, and we will be here to answer any questions or concerns you may have.  Or if the time has come to start a new project, we are available for that as well.

Always remember that when you are a customer of Cabaret Cabinetry, Inc., not only are you a customer for life, you are a friend for life.  Let us help you get started with your project today!
